  • A lawsuit was filed against you.
  • A person served legal documents about the lawsuit.
  • The Judge awarded the creditor a judgment against you.
  • The creditor (Plaintiff in the lawsuit) requested the appointment of a receiver.
  • The receiver located financial assets like your bank account.
  • You (Defendant in the lawsuit) should contact The Receivers Office.
  • You enter into an affordable agreement to satisfy the judgment.
  • Continue to honor the agreement until fulfilled.
  • Once the judgment has been satisfied, the plaintiff's attorney issues a satisfaction of judgment to the court.
  • Your bank account will usually be released within 7-10 business days after a payment agreement is reached and signed.
